Rajmachi (Udhewadi) is a small village in the rugged mountains of Sahyadri in India. The fortification at Rajmachi consists of two forts, namely Shrivardhan fort and Manaranjan fort. Rajmachi Fort is a popular trekking destination. It is a very famous fort located near two famous hills of Maharashtra, Lonavala and Khanadala. (source)

Schedule

  • 11:00 PM : Assemble at Vasai station
  • 11:35 AM : Board 16209 Ajmer – Mysore Express
  • 02:45 AM : Reach Lonavala station, refreshment
  • 03:15 AM : Start road trail towards Rajmachi fort
  • 08:00 AM : Reach base, Udhewadi, breakfast
  • 08:30 AM : Start ascending Shrivardhan fort
  • 09:30 AM : Reach summit, exploration
  • 10:30 AM : Start descending
  • 11:30 AM : Reach base, Udhewadi, lunch
  • 12:00 PM : Start ascending Manaranjan fort *
  • 01:00 PM : Reach summit, exploration
  • 02:00 PM : Start descending
  • 03:00 PM : Reach base, Udhewadi, refreshment
  • 03:30 PM : Start descending towards Karjat
  • 06:30 PM : Reach Kondivade
  • 07:30 PM : Reach Karjat station, refreshment
  • 07:45 PM : Board Karjat – CST local train
  • 09:30 PM : Reach Dadar station

* This will be a high endurance level trek, so exploring Manaranjan fort will be tentative. Schedule will be altered accordingly. Carry torch with extra batteries, first aid kit, 2-3 bottles of water, extra clothing & footwear and windcheater.
